Adam Aircraft was a developmental stage airplane manufacturer in which Tinicum was a minority investor. Adam developed a family of carbon-fiber aircraft. On February 15, 2008 Adam Aircraft filed a voluntary petition for relief under Chapter 7 of the US bankruptcy code.
